Hannah's Heart

Coming Soon

The second "My True Identity" teen novel is soon to be released. Hannah Monroe is back. She has endured much pain and come out on the winning in or has she?

Hannah's Heart is Book 2. The theme is centered around the unaddressed pain. What do have you done with your pain? Have you hidden it from the world? Have you put on the mask of "I'm good?"

Stay tuned to find out if Hannah overcomes or self-destructs.

Re-Presenting God

This is my first youth journal/workbook. It was published in January 2017. This book is not typical. It is a workbook on the deity of Christ.

It was designed to assist with building literacy and true identity in today's youth. Re-Presenting God is packed with strategies used in my English language arts classroom.  It contains eight lessons that break down specific scriptures.

Then the reader can use the Hope in Christ strategy at the back of the book after selecting scriptures of their own from the Bible.

5 Star Review:

This was a powerful book intended for the youth but I found myself grabbing my pen and journal and answering the questions. I wish I had gotten the paperback version. It was a refresher course as to my perspective on God. It presented a foundational study on why and how I believe backed up with supporting Biblical evidence.

I highly recommend this for the new believer as well as the seasoned saint whose faith needs a picker upper. The book was easy to understand and I loved the format.

Hannah's Hope

Hannah's Hope is the youth novel that I am currently working on. Hannah is keeping a terrible secret.

This novel will address what many don't want to discuss, childhood sexual abuse. God placed this novel on my heart to help young girls to come out of their false identity, blaming themselves and feeling rejection. He wants them to walk in their true identity and know that it is found in them.

Stay tuned for the release date.

5 Star Review:

Hannah's Hope takes you into the life of middle school students; their school day, as well as life after school. Through this read, one gets to witness first-hand, the turmoil of one subjected to sexual abuse. Readers will find themselves sitting beside Hannah caught up in her pain. An excellent book for teachers, parents, counselors, and students or anyone working with teens. The discussion guide is sure to help students participate in an open discussion of this issue.

5 Star Review:

I am an African-American female who works with youth of color. This book is a rich and rewarding resource for me. I will use it with my female clients' ages 12-16.
